Notes
This is mostly unfinished and barely qualifies as a game - I was almost too embarrassed to submit. I'm brand new to game development and I made it using Godot 4.2/C#. I found out late about the jam and had limited time to work on the project. I spent a large amount of effort just attempting to learn basic concepts and implement the grid system.

I recommended you turn on teleport style movement in the options to speed things up. I didn't test anything but the default camera FOV of 75. Debug mode will show the line of sight of enemies as well as some bonus info about the pathfinder when they're chasing you.

I wanted to add many more NPCs/items with various stats & abilities, but could only get around to the Cyclops and 3 items. I had to throw together the actual objective and environment at the very last minute.

There are quite a few bugs in the release version. The collision shape of enemies remains active after they die, so you can get stuck in certain places if you aren't careful. Also if you're persistent enough, you can move inside of them while they're moving around.

Here's the source code if anyone is interested: https://github.com/MantisLord/DungeonCrawler

Music is by BenevolentOctopus, who just started learning Reaper/MIDI composing around the same time I started the jam. I used all freely available and creative commons models, sounds, and textures. Here's a list of the ones I managed to keep track of:
